Architecture Uganda is an independent architecture, project-management and development-advisory practice based in Jinja and serving clients across Uganda and East Africa.
The practice is led by Carles Ramada Santana, a Spanish architect qualified since 2008 and registered with COACV in Spain. He holds a Master’s in Architecture and Sustainability, with specialist expertise in bioclimatic and sustainable architecture, and has professional experience across Europe and East Africa.
Based in Uganda since 2015, Carles combines European architectural standards with first-hand knowledge of Uganda’s climate, regulations, materials, contractors and construction market. He previously lectured in Architecture and the Built Environment at Kyambogo University.
